Restrict access to only a relevant subset of positions depending on the respective role of the user
Restrict access to sensitive information within positions that should not be disclosed to everyone through the “general read access”
Positions may include sensitive information like Pay Grade or Pay Range, duration of the contract or budget which is not supposed to be seen by everybody. Furthermore, not everybody should be able to create positions or change the positions outside his/her area of responsibility. In this case Create and Edit access can be restricted to an “own” subset of positions.
This is achieved by dedicating Roles to control Read and Create/Edit permissions to positions.
