Our “partial-retirement” solution offers an easy-to-use way to support this. By utilising this solution, you achieve a more effective method to create efficient HR planning and to support your organisation’s resourcing strategy.
In Germany for instance, employees are entitled to take partial retirement („Altersteilzeit“) before they actually retire. This consists of two phases, as outlined below:
The working phase – employees work full time and are paid half of their salary.
The absence phase – employees have their free time and continue to be paid half of their salary.
(other distributions of time and salary are also possible, e.g. ¾ time + ¼ time, etc.)
With the help of this solution, you create a measure “Altersteilzeit” including the dependent approval workflow.
The Employee Profile of the employee received a corresponding entry and is updated. During the absence phase the employee’s position will be labelled as “vacant”.
As alternative option, the employee can get status “inactive”.
